Welcome to Whitstable United Reformed Church and thank you very much for visiting our website.  We are a friendly, community-based church which relates the Christian faith to the world today.

Church activities

Tuesday coffee morning - 9.30am - 11.30am, with sale of greetings cards and Bric-a-brac items.  Join us for a drink & chat.

Monthly community lunch - 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month - please contact Rita on (01227) 263959 to pre-book (numbers limited).

Monthly prayer meeting and lunch - usually 2nd Tuesday of the month - please contact Rita (see above) to pre-book lunch (numbers limited).

Fridays (term time) Fun Group 9.30am-11.30am for children under 3.  Please pre-book.  Find out more.

Monthly housegroups meet in church members' homes to discuss issues of faith, life and social concern.  Please contact us to find out more.

Other activities in the Church Hall

Did you know there are lots of regular activities taking place in the Church Hall?
  • Tai Chi classes on Tuesdays (9.30am-10.30am & 10.30am-11.30am) and Thursday (9.30am-10.30am) (term time)
  • Men's yoga group meet on Wednesday evenings, 7.15pm
  • Whitstable WI meets on 3rd Wednesday of every month 10am-12pm. If interested please ring (01227) 263179
  • Whitstable Horticultural Society meets on 2nd Tuesday of the month
  • Blood donor sessions by the National Blood Transfusion Service - next dates are 20th & 27th November, 4th & 11th December 2014.  Please visit their website for details
